Art is a Journey

"Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue"...I love vintage mixed with new. I can find treasures almost anywhere. I save them until they find their rightful place in a piece of art. I give silent thanks daily that my mother and grandmother were great collectors of stuff!

I started out almost 30 years ago as a quiltmaker. That journey took an unexpected turn about three years ago when I discovered the joy in working in mixed media creating collages. I haven’t made a quilt since...

I live just north of Los Angeles, California in Canyon Country. I have two wonderful daughters and four terrific grandchildren. They are my fountain of youth!

My works are in the permanent collections At Hill Country Arts Foundation in Ingram, Texas, the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, the Columbus Center for Paper & Book Arts, Kate’s Frame and Art Galley in Clarion, Pennsylvania and in private collections around the world. My collages have also appeared in ArtitudeZine magazine.

My journey continues...
